The Award
The National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Partner of Excellence Award goes to companies that advance green building in their communities. While the American economy continues recovering, most businesses are looking for ways to stay cost-efficient. “Going green” is a big way to do so and has impacted many fields, especially home building.
At Manchester Green Homes, we’ve always been dedicated to building green homes and helping homeowners understand how to stay environmentally friendly. We embrace NGBS certification and our other accreditations. We are quick to share these with homeowners, so they feel secure in the knowledge they are getting well-built, safe, green products.
The Partner of Excellence Award is not easy to obtain. Businesses in line for it receive stringent reviews from the NGBS Advisory Group. The group is composed of people like Troy Johns, founder of the largest home building company in the Pacific Northwest, and Kyle Abney of Abney Green Solutions. The NGBS Advisory Group’s men and women are experts at analyzing homes and products for environmental friendliness, as well as helping people find green alternatives for traditional home building practices.
